This seems as good a place as any to start listing some great websites for WoW.

Data gatherer's / quest information websites:

thottbot.com (great for quest info but the data gatherer is not so widely used anymore and therefore may be innacurate in some cases)

wow.allakhazam.com/ (This website has tons of info, when in doubt check ^ thottbot and this one also.)

www.wowhead.com/ (This one is a bit newer but has alot of info nonetheless, not to mention a very sexy layout)

Realm Statistics:

www.warcraftrealms.com/realmstats.php (This website is quite useful for gathering information about specific servers or all servers combined.)

Hunter Guides:

A hunter needs to know 1.) What pets he can get 2.) Where to get the pets 3.) What abilities those pets can have 4.) Where to get the abilities for your pets etc... These two websites go a long way towards becoming the ultimate hunter pet resource.

HUGE site that has a ton of addons that you can attach to your UI, I find some of them very useful on my Rogue.

Sadly I started playing awhile back on Scilla server (pvp). Not sure if i wanna transfer him over, and im not really into restarting =/. Plus -- i play horde XD!! so thats basically all i know, only lvl 33 atm.

I'll check in frequently to give advice, and talk to some old pals :D.

I'll add my vote for Thottbot. Not 100% user-friendly, but it has absolutely everything you ever might need to know.

I also wanted to add in www.wowwiki.com/ and www.wowguru.com/ as two decent informational resources.
