Has anyone ever done the cavern mobs in the otherworld before?

I am looking to do this for a guild event and if all goes well and drops are as nice as they seem to be on alakazhem We would be interested in doing this on our allaince turn for pve night.

If you have done this raid before or killed any mobs please pm me or reply.

Do you need more than 1 full group?
I read some mobs immune to melee.
Any particular class on alb that works best for this?
Anyone know how many named are in the caverns?
Would this be like a mini Darkspire raid?

Well, we did it one night just for kicks, and something new. ***WARNING*** Do not attempt this at home! ***WARNING***

Heh, the entrance wasn't too hard, but the re-pop rate is high. We had 1fg, and a very, very enthusiastic MA. Unfortunately, we took a wrong turn. We should have zigged when we should have zagged. Ran into a whole passel of grape/red mobs. Ugh! Was interesting for something new. I'd like to take a trip back, but a little more organized.

If you do find out what's at the end of the tunnel, please, let me know.

Menagery , I can do some research on this when I'm at work this week ( heheh ) , and try to find the answer to some of the questions ..when you do this I would love to tag along if its not close to non guildies

Well here is the synopsis of our experiment

Didn't have enough 50's show up in guild. We had 13 people total (of which 4 were bots and 4 were level 35-40 and 5 were 50)

We made all the way to the entrance of the 2 northern rooms with the named in it. Then we died outside. There were already people there killing names but they just came and saw us dead and did nothing. They did not offer a ress or talk to anyone. All I could see was a blue/wht or grey checkered cloak.

So we went to Lower Crypt and Frontlines and Farmed names and got 30 drops for our leveling guildies and some for level 50 bots/alts. Some was very nice
