Alright, so I'm thinking about making a guild music/promotional video, something we can show off to folks to advertise ourselves better and all that.
But, we need a song for the video. I've pretty much decided on something in the power metal vein, trying to pick something particularly motivating/uplifting. Also, something with lyrical content that ties in with us. So, here's six songs I decided would probably work pretty well, along with links to crummy Youtube versions of the songs, in case you've never heard of them before.
Iron Savior - Titans of Our Time - Probably the most uplifting and positive-sounding of the songs, with epic enough lyrics to just make one feel excited.
Iron Savior - Battering Ram - Also pretty epic, the lyrics are a little more generic, but the themes of being superheroes of sorts and crushing all opposition should resonate well.
Iron Savior - Tyranny of Steel - One of Iron Savior's best songs, I get chills down my spine every time I listen to this song. It's just pure win.
HammerFall - Keep the Flame Burning - An excellent song by HammerFall about a band of warriors standing strong in the face of overwhelming odds, swearing to never retreat nor surrender.
HammerFall - Heeding the Call - One of HammerFall's bests, just a freaking awesome song with all the right lyrics for a guild like Divinity. Also, enjoy the Final Fantasy video in the link, since that's all I could find.
Kamelot - The Fourth Legacy - A very motivating song by Kamelot, the lyrics also fit us great.
If anyone else has any good suggestions, feel free to post them. Note, the song(s) should be some sort of motivating metal-style music, with lyrics that fit a guild like Divinity. So, no "It's Raining Men" or "We are the Champions".
