Not asking if anyone trampled anyone over the weekend, but did you purchase more than you normally would have in the name of supposed cheap discounts? If so, list em here!
I bought two of the very popular touch-screen tablets from HP.
HP tx2500z
AMD Turion Ultra 2x Processor @ 2.1 ghz
4 GB DDR2 ram
ultra-responsive active touch-screen with 180 degree turning head
ATI RADEON HD 3200
250 GB HDD
built-in webcam/microphone and related
and a bunch of other crap
FOR: each laptop purchased at 763 bucks, new/custom. PLUS after placing the order I called the HP folks again and complained about something trivial and got an additional 50 dollars credit at the HP store. Free laptop bags, here I come~
2 HP printers
don't know much about them other than that they are inkjets
FOR: 65.99 each BUT I get a $70 rebate for EACH, meaning I make money/come off even after taxes for basically two free printers, which I will sell to stupid college kids for 50 bucks each
Schwinn 26' Women's Bicycle, Mountain/Multi-Speed
For my wife, pretty much name says it all. In pink~
FOR: Retails at 179.99, got it for less than 90. What happened was we knew the local store was way overstocked so we asked for a discount via phone, and they said they will agree to sell it for 100 bucks. Then we went to the store and looked for a tiny "kink", asking for a 10% off, which we got. Then we used a 15 dollar gift card we got for giving blood. My wife now has an old bike to sell too, further lowering the cost to probably ultimately around 40 bucks for a 180 dollar bike.
I am thinking about getting a 1TB external hard drive for 100 bucks. It's a good price for the bang (it is a non-fan needing HDD, it supports USB 2.0 and eSATA), but I just dunno if I need it right now. Decisions, decisions~
