Just wondering.. cause as I check each day on the VN boards (I know this is poison!!), but makes me lose a little heart. I just got my copy and waiting for my computer to arrive (in 15 days!!!)... so I'm just interested in what you think about the state of the game...

Destruction's got a definite numerical advantage on Phoenix Throne, which makes RvR a little one-sided, but that seems to only be in T2 and T3, I hear Order does a lot better in T1 and T4.

that's good to hear because it looked like from VN boards that the servers were dying already..

I really don't see how, given they're about to top a million a subscribers, which is ridiculously fast.

Regardless of whether or not some people are leaving, the Phoenix Throne server turned out to be the right server for us. It has a lot of mature people, and is perhaps the second most populated server. Also, the population is in destruction's favor, which is actually a good thing because it means we play super hard mode  |

Ha ha, I guess that's one way to look at it.
It's good WAR still allows you to make decent progress in the RvR grind, even if you lose most of the time. It makes it a LOT more bearable.

The posts are a little misleading. It isn't that servers were dying, but that Mythic is balancing them out by allow free transfer moves. The servers aren't dying when Blizz offers it, and Warhammer servers aren't dying either. Phoenix Throne is great server. It's been a few weeks since I've been able to actively log on and get a measure of things, but last I checked its usually med pop when others are low (I usually play offpeak), and also High when others are Med.
