I'm quite sure it's the US version if you have to pay for it. Are you in the States? If you're in the States or Canada you probably don't have to pay for it. Plus in description it should say EU or US version. If unsure, you can always use direct2drive. Those are definitely US versions.
If you go on the EU server, the download is free (you have to buy or have a key). Once you activate it's good for a month. Thereafter it'll cost ya about 15 bux a month.
Is it good? Well nothing will compare to daoc for me.. BUT, population, mythical realms, lots of action, roleplaying server high up again... I'd say this is well worth it!

Hi Ovid, Thanks alot. I torrenting original warhammer DVDs (two hours left) and want to buy the key from online store like www.3zoom.com. I am quite far away from the US, in Russia. But historically I prefer play on US servers (I started with daoc since release...), at last here almost everyone speaks English... In the Europe you have that mix of languages.... And I expect that sooner or later the European will go to US servers as well, like it happened with DAOC...

Are the European version servers listed as Oceanic? If so, the US version has access to all of them

Nah, EU servers on Warhammer are similar to the EU in Daoc... meaning a different company runs the servers (GOC, or something like that). The servers are okay, but most people are on the US servers. They did separate the servers by language, but as licht pointed out...eventually people want to go to the more populated servers.
Unfortunately, if you have an EU version of the game you can't play on any US server (different download, though.. the same game).

That sucks! And it's all about money. If Mythic started letting EU players easily access its NA servers then their partners would go up in a fuss
