From what I am told (I was not there because I thought the bane would be at a later time -- go go bad intel ftl), the Iron Knights city was destroyed by a combined might of CS, Hing, CR, TA, Yakuza, KoD, and all their other buddies. TAO did not act intelligently and bring in their allies because they wanted to prescribe to CS's propaganda of what constitutes as honor (which is in essence not bring any allies and to set bane fights at CS EST USA primetime). The result is a burning rubble.
