Runes and Rune Hunting

Plenty of people, in fact our guild and nation have some seriously pressing needs for runes- specifically disc's. I propose we create a list of discs the guild/nation needs, followed by individuals' needs and start forming up parties occassionally to go hunting for those specific runes. Too many times I have been solo, or with 1-2 others looking for something specific and gotten jumped by a more organized (or in many cases more numerous) enemy guild.

What say you?

I suggest our first order of business be to attain a few more Prospectors.

Then perhaps at least 3 Sanctifiers.

After that.........??

We have three prospectors currently to my knowledge.

Molukai, Starbucks, and Newdle.

I'm up for grouping for runes and mines, though I think I'm going to have to roll a new toon for it. Fury's a decent choice but the whole glass cannon thing isn't really suiting me too much

we definitely need the prospectors since so many times a mine fight has come up but we have no one to claim so don't generate much interest

I suggest we pick up a few bounty hunters also as they are selling for crazy prices. it took me 3 days just to find one to buy!

it would be nice to have a variety of runes in stock for members and we are out there farm/pl anyway.

I agree with Darkspawn. Prospector should be 1st priority. Sanctifier for anybody w/ a heal bot.

Battle Magus is also important. If it wasnt for Llorimar, I dont think we would have enough tanks to batter down a mine.

So, in summary- for those who read the boards, it will fall to us to organize these groups when we are online. I would say that, for the moment at least, the only things that take higher precedence are minefights, banes, and of course anything Molukai declares more important.

I further suggest our target list be this to start (regardless of someone applying the runes noted):

2 Battle Magus
3 Sanctifier
3 Prospector

Please post here once you or someone you know has acquired the runes above- make sure we do not double count any

If we can meet this goal within 1 real time week, I think we will greatly strengthen our position in the world of Brialla.

btw- I twisted the order around because we only have 1 BM to my knowledge, and the Sanctifier ability to heal and remove DS simultaneously is very helpful in many situations. Also, I think we are up to 4 Prospectors- Curious George has it applied too.

Aye, actually we have been doing pretty good taking control of mines lately. Major thanks to Clatto for stepping up and leading these things, it's been a big burden taken off of me while I am busy doing work over here.

I need a battlemagus for either Zarina or my new channie Zara. I also have space and trains available to take a sanctifier on my druid Anicia.

I have a spare prospector btw if anyone needs? If not I'll be taking it on a toon myself

Thought we could use an update here- especially since there have been some movement in the membership lately.

I did manage to acquire a Sanctifier disc and applied it to Dorfbot, my Buffer.

Not completely related, but my Bird-Scout has Saboteur, Gladiator, and Sky Dancer applied. He is however only R4, on the verge of R5. Of course, Detect Invis is GM'd, so he has his uses even now.

Darkspawn could use a Battle Magus and a 40 Int rune. I do have a 35 Int rune, btw if anyone needs one.

Also, sadly this seems to come as a surprise to many, but I *never* charge guildies, and rarely charge Nation-mates for needed runes. Others have reciprocated equally, so it would be nice to keep that in effect- especially in-guild.

Anyone else add anything to the mix?

Ok so I know Gorr has been out rune hunting, but this is my official request for a Battle Magus rune. This weekend we were trying to take mines and did not have enough burners so I would really like to make one or place it on my fury to do the job. If no one has this rune what are the coords for the dropper and I will camp that spawn until I have enough for everyone.

Just a FYI: the Vorringia coords aren't all 100% correct for the Braialla serve map, though the Macro- and microzones (I think) all are.

Update: I wasn't able to spend much time on yesterday, however I did manage to snag a Battle Magus disc for Darkspawn and GM'd Skirmish Counterspell and JM'd Demolishing Spell. Also, Dorfbot has had the Sanctifier disc with JM'd Sanctify the Fallen and Sacred Reinforcement.

Another Rune/Disc update- we had a solid productive day today- numerous discs were acquired, including a Battle Magus generously donated by Hare- it went to Fist of Fury.

Also, I was able to obtain a Huntsman and a Prospector along with a werewolf and Blackmask. Others will (hopefully) update their catches.

Here's what I have total- these are strictly for Guildies:

30 Str

In case anyone is curious (or feels *really* generous)- I could definitely use a 40 Int and a 40 Dex.

One last thing- we really need 2-3 more Prospector discs due to recent losses and (semi)retirements. We currently hold *Zero* mines- and this cannot be fixed without Prospectors. We also could use 2-3 more Battle Magus discs. What did I miss??
