This is only viable if the following three conditions are met:
(1) You know how to dogfight yourself versus casters in PvP
(2) You're level 70 with gear comparable to that level
It is a very good spec because it makes you nearly unkillable in pvp, especially when you're duoing, and very good at playing main or support tank while doing healing/buffing on the side in pve. Personally, duoing with Nicocakes makes us the ultimate duo for he is specced 2hander Ret/Holy, fully complimenting my 1hander Ret/Prot
