Even though we plan events such as raids or meetings.
No one attends to these. Even the leaders and people who organise them!
This is a real big problem in my opinion. I've had 2-3 guildmembers whisper me as-to this problem.
They've let me know about their concerns that when help is needed or when raids are formed only a very small portion stand up to help.
It's absolutely ridiculous that even the guild message of the days aren't read regularly by our guildmates. That ganked members whatch a guildmate pass them by and ignore cries for help.
This is NOT what Divinity is supposed to be.
Officers should be on these forums more often. A very real proof that this Guild is loostening ais that the last message in this forum posted was the 17 of Febuary.

As stated many times in the past weeks, it is promoted that other Officers also take charge; if you feel that something isn't being done correctly, then you should be proactive take steps to change it. Naturally, the first would be to speak with the guild leader, but he hasn't and can't be on that much.

I went on earlier today, and greeted the guild, and got one response. When I replied, no further responses...

i recently found out that my brother plays on the eitrigg server and when i whisper him i dont get replies because he is not paying attention to the screen he is paying attention to what he is doing and leveling i think that this is why there are not alot of responses in guild chat.

This isn't a question of ignoring on-going conversations. Alot of members are busy and I don't think it's fair to ask for a response to hellos and or just comments all the time ;D. --- It's ignoring 'messages of the day.' in the guild menu.
The first thing every member of a guild usually do is check the message of the day for anything important: raids, events, important messages etc...
But a very good portion of the guildmembers don't do this. What's odd is that most every other guild don't have this problem. I don't know if it's sub-conscious on the part of the guild or if it's just reinforce more thouroughly in other guilds. But alot can be missed because of this.

I think that the main problem with the guild is that they ignore almost everything because not only am I assuming that they are busy most of the time, but also with the whole "this is a game, it doesnt matter" complex.
I don't know of any way to pull people around. I think we officers need to call a meeting on how to get the attention of the guildmates and actually get this guild up and running instead of calling a guild meeting to see what people are doing.
To me the mainder of the problem is the lack of participation as Shalina stated. And as a response, I will be posting a raid on Thunder Bluff for Saturday the 10th at 6:00 pm server time.
Anybody who wishes to actually participate will meet in the trade district at least 30 minutes before shoving off to the battle. This is my plan.

Alrighty with /o chat!
I have made a new site and forum and am going to talk to every single member individually... at a certain point. for now I'm just working and playing and getting to talk to different people... make them feel my presence and that they know me...
Then I'll be talking to them and remind them about the forum and new site... and if that if they'd like to do more raids and events there's always the ;guildmessages of the day' which no one reads...
