Hey guys question! I have an alt called "Bank" and it was my banker for IMMORTAL GODS...do you guys want to use a banker for our guild? I usually carry items and money but since we have 200+ members, items are going to get a lil bit crazy! Up to you guys! Let me know..and we'll just have optional donations to the banker! So far my guild raised about 90g in about 3 months!

This bank is to help everyone out who is in need of some gold, silver, or copper! Just let me know! = )

But As a newer addition to Divinity... I'm thinking some of the older members wouldn't trust just anyone with a guild bank...

I'd trust Mol and Nub with it and I think many other know that the guild leader (and his younger brother) would 'technically' be bound to be fair with the money if they want their members to stay in the guild...

Like you mentioned we could have like... dueling contests or 50:50s witht he money that would be awesome!

But we first need more participation in the forums... so that's what I'm working on right now.... Will unvail it to Mol first.

Belleza has a strong vested interest into Divinity, so I trust her with the guild bank. If anyone would like to head up a dueling contest, that would be great to have!

I think guild banks with money are a bad idea - too easy to abuse

In other guilds we have had an item banker - basically the way this works is that you send any blue or better item that you want to share with guildies to the banker - banker logs on a couple times a week and gives the stuff out

I say blue and above because it gets to be a real hassle dealing with all the greens

we have also had a mats banker in the past but the banker claimed that it took too much time because of the amount of junk they recieved

WoW's bank system sucks and is substandard for the supposed quality it is supposed to be.

The only way a bank would work is if everyone explicitly trusts the guild leader or the person holding the money...

I didnt have a hard time controlling my bank...and I would never steal anything because I dont need the money...i use to donate 20 gold at a time (also we did items too)...but since everyone is so negative about the bank i dont wanna handle it anymore...btw Shalina..it was Mergen's idea about the bank...so me and him ran the bank and he helped me with it! Im 20 yrs old (birthday is today = P) so im wise enough to not go spend everyones money! Also i use to have a forum and a bank section..and it would have detail by detail of what items i have, what type it is and all the info, who donated it..and same goes with the money! How much someone gave me...how much we have all together and if someone needed the money! I would give no more than 5g at a time! And sometimes if its a big amount...they would pay half of it back! I still have the bank alt, but since my IMMORTAL GODS guild is finished and most of my members left Divinity...i paid practically everyone back so right now the bank alt is down to 0 gold! If no one wants the alt...eventually ill be deleting the bank alt and giving it to mergen because he gave me the alt! The name "Bank" is so easy to remember...and hopefully we can use or ill just give it back to Mergen

Well most of those that were in Divinity that used to be in IG and left weren't really good for the guild. Those that are still with us are good though.

That said, if you would like I can set up a bank section and you can list what items you have, if you like.
