I think we should sponsor Divinity Roleplay Storytelling events - I personally LOVE this idea and want to head it up

Personally I like any idea that promotes the roleplay enviroment of the game!

Yammie was onto something here, but I think that since this was her idea, mayhap we should have let her run with it with the support of the officers...

I feel that there is a sense of fulfillment in all when the respected leader hears your idea and says "GREAT! I love it, what will you need to accomplish your goals and how can I help support this".

It also takes some of the burden offf the leader;)

Unfortunatly I tried going to a book reading rp event in Stormwind keep's library but no one but me and maybe 2 others participated.

It's unfortunate that Rp-ing has gone so low on the Venture.co server.

As a new years resolution I'm gonna try to Rp a bit more even when speaking with guildies.

there will be a HUGE RP event on January 16th, 2007 (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=52826120&sid=1).

I think this is a very unique and interesting idea by our friend Renaud from Defiance guild.

I personally will be there, and it will be great if we can send our own army of Divinity to aid/support this once-in-a-lifetime RP event.

I think we should attend more RP events, if we want to be known by the RP community in Venture Co.

I think that Divinity only have a few members that interested in doing RP.. Sadly, in general, only a slight-percentage of Venture Co. Alliance members care about RP..

and yes, I understand that RP is basically dead in this server.

Anyway, to anyone who care/like to RP, there is a book-reading session every Monday(6pm server time) by Council of Magi guild at the Stormwind Park.

Today is the first-ever session, and it was quite-succesful: 3 RP guilds with around 20 of their members..

Today's reading is about Stratholme and its history.

Last thing I want to say is: You guys are in an RP server, so if you guys don't do RP(I wonder why you are in RP server then?) please at least respect those people who do RP.

I have been to quite alot of RP events myself, and I have some experiences that really bothers me..

For example, when I help promote the event by broadcasting it on General channel, the responses vary from "lol" to "lol are you kidding?" to "reading a book?! what?! what?! what?! lol!" to "what a waste of time"or something along these lines.. I haven't seen any responses worst than "what a waste of time", but I hope I never will see one..

Have any of you heard the expression: "If you got nothing good to say, then just shut the *bleep* up"?

It's not their first session - Divinity and Council of Magi are actually quite close in the RP world~
