I think my character is cursed (or blessed depending how you look at it). Every raid I go on, I make a macro /assist MA. But every raid I do, I end up pulling agro off the MA.
I don't use taunt, I just use amyslash, slam, and riposte. Do you other paly's end with heal chant? I'm thinking maybe that is it.
I'm so loving my new small shield. It's uber. 3.0 speed is a touch slow, but the stats boosted me to +13 for Slash, Parry, and Shield.
Small shield = 4tw in RvR. I never get hit by more than 1 person at a time, so the small shield works perfect for slam, switch slam, switch amy amy.
The faster speed = less delay between slaming more than one person. It also = less delay between slam and amyslah.
"Your chance to block is affected by the number of attackers, the size of the shield you’re using, and your spec in block.
Shield% = (5% + 0.5% * Shield)
Small Shield = 1 attacker
Medium Shield = 2 attacker
Large Shield = 3 attacker
Each attacker above these numbers will reduce your chance to block."
But the thing is, I rarely get meleed in RvR. I'm usually getting nuked. And quick slam+amy does a lot better in stoping them from nuking than a big shield which, to my knowledge, doesn't block magic damage.
