[DAOC] Alliance Information - Revised 10/02/2007 « Thread Started on Aug 21, 2005, 9:59am »
Hail and well-met to all that have come here to inquire about the Divinity alliance. Here we will inform you all of what our alliance is all about, our structure, and whether or not we are adding new guilds to our alliance.
Currently the Divinity Alliance consists of: -Divinity [Head of the Alliance] -Bane -Coeur de Lys -European Legacy -Mortuus Ratio -No Innocent Victims -Quebec Souverain -Shadow Warriors -Soul Reaver -Te -Tempete -Vereor II -Vis Maior
The alliance's specific purpose is to coordinate quality Albion guilds into an effective realm defense confederacy. These guilds are all fully equal, and each respective guild's leader is a representative for the interests of their guild within the alliance. Each respective guild is in charge of moderating as well as being responsible for the actions of their guilds in relation to the alliance, in specific to how alliance chat is used. Alliance chat is used primarily for realm-related information, i.e. coordinating of troops in the frontier, reports of enemy invasion, and most importantly CTAs.
CTAs (Call to Arms) is utilized when the frontier is overrun by enemy forces, and Albion relic(s) is/are in danger. Usually, it has been agreed that a call should be made when 2 of 3 keeps needed to open a relic gate are controlled by the enemy, and the third keep is under attack by the enemy. When a CTA is called, all members of each guild that is over level 45 should go to the frontier and coordinate with alliance defense forces there. Molukai, if online, will almost always be leading the alliance forces.
CTAs can be called by anyone in any of the guilds of the alliance, but if it is a false or premature call the person that made the call can suffer penalties considered fitting by their guildleader(s).
The alliance is also interested in doing things together, and so to that effect alliance chat allows the following: offering of tradeskill ability, occasional buy/sell requests, offerings of spots in a group, offering self to any groups that may be open, and VERY light chatter (we stress light, because chatter should be between guildmembers in guildchat, otherwise we would all just be in one guild).
We are not a roleplay guild. But we are an alliance of guilds that respect each other, know each other, and wish to help each other.
We are very selective on who we allow into our alliance. You must be a guild that is professional, knows how to follow alliance guidelines already set, be willing to follow through on CTAs, and show signs of an active RvR membership. Your guild must have at least 8 active members, at least 350K total guild realm points, and promise to abide to the alliance charter.
Molukai oversees each addition to the alliance, so you should speak with him should your guild wish to join us.

hope the day finds you well!
I was directed here from Yb who I emailed off of your contact info on the herald- he told me he is no longer the gm of divinity...... I wanted to inquire about my band of merry men and one woman (the guild Justiciars of heaven) joining your alliance.
A little about us- we are a close group of friends, been playing daoc since release. What a long time it has been! anyway, we quit after the toa debacle, and have been back about 8 mos. We were originally on Lance/Alb, with the same guild tag. We have lots of fun, use team speak (I host the server) and generally there are a few of us on every night of the week. We are mature older types, and do not like drama or any of that nonsense, just like playing with like minded individuals, and we are getting more focused on rvr (currently we are all gaining RR in cv, at lev 49- but we do have some 50s). We want to join a large active alliance, and since we always try to maintain self reliance in regards to crafting, we have crafters available to help out the alliance in any way we can (I'm 1123 ac, 1001 alch, ziw is 1165 tailor and 600 sc, bc is 704 wc and dt is 500+ fletch atm). We are looking to pve too; we would like to experience ds, poc, sidi with people in the alliance who wouldnt mind teaching us the ropes- we never got around to that in the past (well i didnt, but the others dont remember too much of sidi or poc heh)
Anywho- If someone would be so kind to let me know what we have to do to join up and start helping out!

Hail friend, look up the Divinity online and see if you can find "Farms" or "Adaron". If they aren't on, send a tell to any member you see online and ask if there is an officer you can speak with!

Would like to see if Mortuus Ratio of Ector could join your alliance. I really like your rules and how your alliance is set up and would be honored to be apart of it.
You must look at both the big as well as the small. You pay heed to the sun but always watch your feet or you'll fall ingloriously on your nose

Hi I was wondering if your alliance is accepting new guilds? I am the GM of shadow warriors and we are looking for an alliance. Please contact Sumy in shadow warriors (GM) or Khristof (Primary Officer) if anyone has any questions about our guild or if there is some sort of process of application we must go through.
